“Growing up on a farm in North Carolina, I witnessed countless lifecycles of crops: fields producing and then decomposing to nourish new seeds, seasons ending to begin again. These natural rhythms taught me that the most transformative stories mirror life’s deepest patterns. Rowen’s narrative arc follows this ancient structure: a character born from seeds, living purposefully through community engagement, then choosing deconstruction as a generative act. Rowen offers a new kind of mythmaking for the climate age.
“Stories have always been humanity’s most powerful technology for processing change, and Rowen gives urban communities a story that helps them imagine their own neighborhoods’ transformation. When we design around death and rebirth, we tap into narrative structures that have moved people for millennia. The strategy behind every visual, every event, and every new seedling serves this larger story, helping audiences understand that endings can be beginnings.”
