The Story

Meet Rowen, a magnificent botanical puppet on a mission to sow green spaces across New York City. Standing 12 feet tall, this walking garden of seeds and plants will spotlight NYC’s unused spaces, harnessing art, data, and community action to catalyze environmental change. At journey’s end, Rowen’s physical form will be planted, becoming the city’s newest green space — a living symbol of urban transformation.
